Kathleen Haughney is a reporter for News Service of Florida, an independent, web-based, wire service that covers state politics and government. She is a 2007 graduate from Penn State University with degrees in journalism and American Studies. She also received her MA in public affairs reporting from University of Illinois at Springfield in 2008.
Outside of journalism, she loves engaging in other very nerdy pursuits like cooking, improving her Spanish, museum hopping, traveling and reading.
